Overview
At MatterFix, we sell Certified Pre-Owned Pro2 and Pro3 cameras. All of the cameras we sell have been fully tested and have passed our rigorous 25 point inspection process. We warranty all of our Certified Pre-Owned Cameras for one year against any defects. Our warranty does not cover physical damage (drops etc), but other than that, if your camera stops functioning correctly we will repair it or replace it free of charge for one year. The prices of our cameras also include free UPS shipping to any mainland US address.

We occasionally have Certified Pre-Owned Pro3 cameras available for sale, however because the camera is so new, we do not get them in very often. Our typical Pro3 camera sale comes with 1) the camera, 2) the zipper case it usually comes with, 3) a TMount, 4) a battery and 5) the battery charger. Because we are authorized by matterport to service their Pro3 cameras, we fully test all of the camera's components and its calibration before we sell them. We also warranty the Pro3 cameras we sell for one full year against any defects (the warranty does not cover drops or other physical damage).

All of our Certified Pre-Owned Cameras undergo a comprehensive 25 point inspection process, so you can be certain that you will receive a camera that is ready to put to work immediately! Below is a list of what we do before selling any Certified Pre-Owned Camera.
MatterFix 25 Point Quality Inspection Process
- Check for proper charging of batteries
- Power up to check for error codes
- Check LCD panel for “burn-in”
- Power up and visually check for smooth rotation
- Listen for excessive fan noise
- Perform laser test for accuracy of rotation
- Inspect images in capture app to check for misalignments
- Test wifi signal for strength and speed of transfer
- Disassemble camera and:
- Check housing pieces for damage and correct fit
- Inspect sensor array for dust behind lens
- Check chassis for bends or damage - replace if needed
- Inspect e-carrier plate for bends
- Inspect clutch and stepper motor - replace if needed
- Adjust clutch nut to proper torque settings
- Adjust stepper motor tension or replace bumper tension as needed
- Replace internal fans - if needed
- Add battery protection pads if needed
- Re-strap batteries
- Apply USB retention strips
- Replace any damaged housing pieces and reassemble camera
- Complete several scans to verify smooth rotation and transfer times
- Set camera on autoscan machine and perform 50 sweeps (check for errors etc)
- Clean camera and pack for shipment
- Verify proper rotation with laser test
